Vetoryl

Trade name for Trilostane. This drug blocks the synthesis by the adrenals of adrenal hormones. It is used in the treatment of hyperadrenocorticism (Cushings disease). In order to live a healthy life animals need some adrenal hormones – glucocorticoids mineralocorticoids – so we have to create a balance whereby some is still produced but the excess is blocked. We usually achieve this by regular blood testing.

If your dog is on Vetoryl and you notice any adverse effect phone us directly please.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.
