Our Practice

Our site at Ashford was started in 1992. In 2009 we moved into our present palatial premises a few yards from the old surgery. We have a large air-conditioned waiting room and three consult rooms – a pharmacy, laboratory, isolation room, separate dog and cat wards, a large preparation area, a sterile operating theatre, a second operating theatre and a dedicated diagnostic imaging room. It also has the added advantage of being new and very beautiful!

At Ashford we are open 7 days per week. We run by appointment but that is not to say that you cannot just turn up at the surgery if necessary. We will always endeavour to help at anytime.

Our opening times are:

Monday - Friday 8am - 7pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm
Sunday 10am - 1pm

Our consulting times are:

Monday - Friday 9am - 11am & 3pm to 7pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm

Due to Covid we are no longer doing an open clinic on Sundays, we are still open for the same hours as usual, it’s just Sundays work by bookable appointments now rather than an open clinic!

Phone Numbers you will need -

Ashford surgery: 01233 661099

If we are closed a recorded message will give you number for Vets Now, Kingsnorth Ashford Kent, which is 01233 879913.

You will notice that we are open on Sundays (see times above) There is no emergency surcharge for this service simply our routine Sunday consult fee - and everybody is welcome.

We have invested heavily in the most up-to-date equipment and we have tried to make it into a one stop shop where pretty much all of your pet's health requirements can be found under one roof- just like a BUPA hospital!

Our Veterinarians are experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and understanding of animal health, illnesses and injuries.

Just a little thank you for trying so hard for Big Tom.

He had a good life with me, extra time if I hadn’t taken him in.

Such a lovely kindly cat

Thank you again
