Ronaxan

Trade name for Doxycycline. This is a very useful antibiotic for some quite defined conditions. It kills Spirochates (eg. Helicobacter and Campylobacter) Rickettsia and Chlamydia. It has a definite role in some infections. It should be given with food as it is capable of causing oesophagitis – inflammation even ulceration of the gullet. Tetracyclines can cause discolouration of teeth if given to young animals prior to adult teeth erupting. There is little evidence that Doxycycline causes this but we are very wary of using it in young animals.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.

Just a little thank you for trying so hard for Big Tom.

He had a good life with me, extra time if I hadn’t taken him in.

Such a lovely kindly cat

Thank you again
