Profender

This is relatively new on the market and takes away the necessity to give a fractious cat a tablet to worm it. It is a spot on like the anti-flea preparations and is easy to apply. It contains Emodepside and Praziquantel.

It is well tolerated by pregnant cats but studies done on rats and rabbits suggest that it may interfere with embryonic development therefore use by women of child bearing potential should be avoided.

Profender should be disposed of carefully to avoid water courses - it is harmful to aquatic organisms.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.
