Antepsin

This is sucralfate – a complex of aluminium hydroxide and sulphated sucrose. In the acid of the stomach the aluminium ion detaches and the rest of the molecule binds onto proteinacious exudates forming a “bandage” over ulcers.

There are minimal side-effects. For best effect it should be given an hour before food.

Our veterinarians are all experienced general practitioners with a broad knowledge and
understanding of animal health, illness and injury.
